1C_39: My child, prepare your heart in prayer and self-denial so that you may hear Me better, not only in My Word and My inspirations, but also, and especially in the most insignificant events, whether happy or sad. If I permit you to experience these things, they are lessons for you which you must welcome if you desire to grow.
