Prayer for Forgiveness in the Holy Spirit

To rebuild after a crisis, we must start anew by turning the page on past incidents that have severed our bonds with others. That is why it is so important to forgive one another completely; in fact, we must forgive both ourselves and others. To restore our relationships, we must be willing to forgive one another before the Lord, who will act through the power of His grace.

Forgiveness is not human, it is divine!

I would like to share this prayer, which does wonders when accompanied by the Sacrament of Reconciliation:

Prayer for Forgiveness
In Your Name, Lord Jesus, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, I forgive (person's name) all the wrong that he (or she) has caused me, whether intentionally or not.

Prayer for Liberation
In Your Name, Lord Jesus, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, I release him or her from any debt owed to me, unconditionally and forever.

Prayer for Blessing
I pray, Lord Jesus, that You fill him (or her) with Your Love and Your Blessings.

Prayer for Self-Forgiveness
In Your Name, Lord Jesus, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, I forgive myself all my sins that You have already forgiven, and I accept myself as I am, with all my weaknesses, all my limits, all my faults, all my qualities, and I love myself as I am, because You, Lord, have always loved me, and You still love me just as I am.

Prayer for Self-Liberation
 In Your Name, Lord Jesus, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, I free myself from all fear, terror, anguish and anxiety. I free myself from all hatred, vanity, aggressiveness, bitterness and desire for revenge. I free myself from all feelings of guilt, insecurity, inferiority, etc.

Prayer for Blessing
And I pray, Lord Jesus, that you bless me and fill me with Your Love.
